Why Gen Z are childless, insecure, and inevitably revolutionary
This Week In Media | 25th - 31st March 2024
Happy Easter everyone! Christ is King — which I’ve been told is a contentious thing to say these days…
Anyway, my interview with the gentlemen at TRIGGERnometry is out. I didn’t intend to be their most rightwing guest yet, but it certainly seems that way.
We discussed why young men feel so dispossessed; how their discontent will foment political revolution; why Wokeness is derivative of Liberalism, daycare, and children raised on algorithms; and and how demographic change and the gender war will render us all atomised unisex consumer units.
And for those who hadn’t heard of me till now: no, I can’t “use less words” or “slow down”. I think aloud, in real-time, and speak at the pace I think. At least you know I’m honest.

The Global Fertility Crisis and Western Demographic Collapse
In this week’s Tomlinson Talks, I was reunited with my friend, demographer and documentary filmmaker Stephen J. Shaw.
We discussed the recent Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation study , published in the Lancet, arguing that UK’s sub-replacement birth rate will necessitate a dependence on mass immigration until 2100.
Stephen also answered audience questions about why we should still have children in an uncertain, expensive, and hostile world.

To whet your appetite, here’s a preview clip, where Stephen — who has lived in Japan for seven years now — discusses why it’s a Western misperception that Japan is a nation of herbivorous incels:
What Are We Paying You For?
On the Podcast of the Lotus Eaters this week, I discussed the cognitive dissonance caused by the Conservative government insisting that ‘the plan is working’, despite a record number of small boats crossing the Channel in the first three months of 2024.
This is because the £480 million given to the French government to ‘Stop the boats’ has been squandered on things like a £63,000 fence for a football stadium.
Meanwhile, in the UK, the Labour Party have accused the government and Home Office of under-reporting the costs of housing illegal migrants in hotels by £7 million A DAY.
On top of the £5.4 billion annual costs for accommodation, legal costs totalled £71 million between 2019 and 2023 — averaging £38,000 a day.
It’s clear that our state hates us, is lying to us, and has no intention to fix this problem.
Is Wokeness Caused By Liberalism?
My colleague Stelios took umbrage to my and Carl’s video on Why Wokeness Is Liberalism, and invited me onto his series, Symposium, to debate the proposition.
We discussed how migration policy operates on the false anthropology of the Blank Slate; whether or not the concept of ‘psychological harm’ comes from a mechanistic conception of the world; and whether or not technological progress is inseparable from classical Liberalism.
