Twink Death, Taylor Swift, and the Total Demise of the Tory Party
This Week In Media | 29th January - 4th February
Another week requires another roundup of my plaguing the airwaves in the last seven days.
No new articles published yet — but a lot of long-form discussions to listen to while folding your laundry.
Total Twink Death
This week on LotusEaters.com, I hosted Lads hour — our Friday afternoon live stream, which Carl conceived of as “like The View, for men.”
This week, we discussed the importance of Twink Death: why it is good, actually, for men to outgrow boyishness, and shun effeminacy, to gain the respect of your peers and the love of women mature enough to appreciate masculinity.
We also made fun of each other. A lot.

Taylor Swift Is Not A Psyop
Never one to miss an opportunity to give an opinion which is reviled in the present, and vindicated in the future: I discussed the ongoing hysteria around Taylor Swift, and its implications for conservatives’ role in the Culture War, on the Podcast this week.
The moment those who declare themselves in favour of tradition realise that vibes and aesthetics are supreme over reason and arguments — that feelings matter more than facts — then they can claim victory.
Until then, the more you release bad raps with men with face tattoos, the more you have no right to complain when you alienate young women from the wholesome future you claim to want to build.
Thanks also to Peachy Keenan for signal-boosting this segment. You really should subscribe to her Substack. I’ll be interviewing her at some point soon!
What Comes After Liberalism?
Before Christmas, I invited my friend James Orr, Associate Professor of Philosophy of Religion at the University of Cambridge and UK Chairman of the Edmund Burke Foundation, into the studio to discuss Liberalism, magic, and traditionalism with myself and Carl.
James very nearly nudged Carl toward Christianity before time constraints got the better of us. But be sure to watch this graduate-level discussion of philosophy, ahead of the inevitable sequel.
Here’s a clip to preview its contents, for those yet to be convinced to subscribe to our website:
Total Tory Collapse
As a first foray into a “This Week In Westminster” format, I broke down the front-facing and behind-the-scenes reasons why the Conservative government are in terminal decline ahead of the next election — with Carl and special guest David Atherton.
For some exclusive anecdotal insight into why the Tory Party are committing electoral suicide, watch the above live stream — in full and for free, on LotusEaters.com.
Is Christianity Compatible With Buddhism?
As a guest on my colleague Josh’s series Contemplations this week, I participated in a panel discussion on the beliefs of Buddhism, and its parallels and differences with the teachings of Christ, and the books of Genesis and Job.

The Manosphere Betrays Boys
On Wednesday, I was once again invited to participate in a debate on Patrick Christys Tonight on GB News — against both banal feminist Anna-May Magnan, and popular self-styled Red Pill podcast host Pearl Davis.
Though the debate was about young men’s perception of feminism, I did only get a minute of airtime between the two women.
However, I managed to deliver a concise critique of the inheritors of the Manosphere’s heuristic for boys in that time: namely, they run interference for Andrew Tate, who enriched himself on a pornography empire that adolescent boys become addicted to from the average age of 11.
The “Red Pill” sphere —- Whatever Podcast, Fresh & Fit, and yes, Pearl too — preach and platform polygamous promiscuous Islam, while denigrating the Anglosphere’s traditions of Christian headship, monogamous marriage, and present fatherhood.
The “Red Pill” has become a sedative for the revolutionary revival of masculine paternalism, which is the only means we will revive a civilisation worth living in.
But, if men aren’t resentful anymore, and aren’t caught in the Hobson’s Choice of worshiping or insulting OnlyFans prostitutes, then these podcasts lose their lucrative captive audiences. And they can’t have that now, can they.

Next week brings new opportunities, including a new Critic piece on ‘Vibe Supremacy’, a debut segment on Sky News Australia, and my first interview with the gentlemen over at TRIGGERNOMETRY.
Have a good week!
